Born and raised in Portland, OR, Cyrus carries with them the organic and hypnotic melancholy that life in the Pacific Northwest fosters. DJ Papaya takes listeners on an open-format journey through, dub, bass, downtempo and beyond. Weaving divergent sonic and textural threads around an ineffable emotional core, False Imprint celebrates the sense of wonder and mystery found at the electronic fringe. 
Based in Philadelphia, DJ Papaya is a co-founder of the event series Spindrift, rooted in ambient and downtempo music, and the party Chrysalis, rooted in bass and leftfield club sounds. They have previously been a resident of Great Circles Radio and Terry Radio.
