A New PATH is a 25 year old advocacy organization dedicated to spreading awareness about the opioid epidemic and training the public how to recognize and respond to opioid overdose and provide harm reduction supplies such as Naloxone and fentanyl test strips. We also have a Harm Reduction Zine! 

Adam Gnade's work is released as a series of books and audio recordings of writing by Three One G, Bread & Roses Press, and the Numero Group. He runs the record label for writers Hello America Stereo Cassette.

Hi! My name is Ava. I'm currently located in my childhood neighborhood of Temecula, CA. My life as a creative worker began in 2017 and I have lived, worked and traveled through Los Angeles and San Diego. My work includes film & digital photography, lino block printing and drawings/comics/illustrations. I am inspired by interpersonal relationships, emotions, memories, music, filmmaking, comics, science fiction and the creative works of my peers. 

Tijuana-raised artist Ximena Sánchez (aka "aveces, ximena.") currently based in Mexico City; weaves intimacy, feminism, and memory into fanzines, video installations, and more. Exploring the fragility of being through everyday experiences, she seeks connection through shared memories in her art. Recently, through art school and community involvement, she's discovered the power of sharing experiences and fostering connection through art.

Los Angeles based bookbinder, letterpress printer and illustrator who has been self-publishing artist books and zines under the moniker Aviatrix Press since 2018. My books feature my horror-fantasy illustrations as well as found ephemera and photographs. They cover topics like marbled paper, free little libraries, ancient ruins, feral cat colonies, postage stamps and haunted houses. When I’m not making zines, I work as a studio technician at Otis College of Art & Design’s Lab Press, where I get to spend my time working with historic type and printing presses.

Bella Borquez is a SD based graphic designer with a love for traditional printing and exploring underground topics. 

We’re an indie press founded in March 2021 and are based in San Diego and Denver. We publish anthologies and chapbooks with a focus on mental health awareness. We donate 10% of anthology net sales to a mental health non-profit.

Welcome to Ditto’s Domain! I’m from the old internet of chat rooms, personalized html coded websites, guest books and message boards. More recently I'm a co-organizer of Dear Diary Zine Fest, and have always been an obsessive personal archivist and story teller. I have a blog for sharing my non-digitized personal zine archive, and table at events with personal zines and perzine propaganda. 

Ediciones Caradura is an art and publishing collective. We are interested in self-publication, books distribution and art.  We have a physical place in downtown TJ named Cafeteoría. This place is a bookstore with many zines, books, merch, and art from artists and independent publishers from Mexico, Central, and South America. 

ELEVATORTEETH is an artist from Southern California that releases printed matter, music and other items of interest thru HARDCORE AMBIENT press. For 10+ years HARDCORE AMBIENT has been a dedicated dark channel for limited edition items.

Our mission is to provide a safe and accessible space for emerging artists in the creative community to express their vision, gain exposure, exhibit, and sell their work. Through the sharing of resources and ideas, we seek to empower creatives in our community to reach their greatest potential.

We're a small two-person team located in Tijuana, Mexico that edits, translates, and makes our own handmade books since 2022. We specialize in poetry and philosophical texts, and we emphasize the translation of texts written in Spanish into English as part of our fronterizo identity, as exemplified in our name. Halfbreed is what we are, as individuals that speak two languages, have a mestizo heritage, and wish to heighten and highlight these differences with pride. 

I'm a writer and cultural worker who founded Hello Barkada in 2021 to serve historically marginalized communities through digital and traditional media and programming, such as online and print media (zines!) and virtual and in-person events. Hello Barkada champions, advocates, and provides a platform for people and women of color, LGBTQIA2S+ folx, disabled peoples, and intersectional voices. I also founded and recently produced the first Convoy Zine Fest on June 2, 2024.

Douglas (aka heysoupface) is a self taught artist living in Los Angeles who has been making comic zines since childhood. Finding inspiration in shows like Gumby and video games like Katamari Damacy, his art explores failure, friendship, and loneliness. His comics tend to be sad, but in a funny kind of way.

Honey Boy Press is a zine distro based on occupied Chumash lands in Santa Barbara, California. We've  been making and distroing zines since 2019.

We are a collective of wretched wormy creatures who writhe in people's food scraps. Our mission is to expropriate the waste of the city dwellers and transform it into the richest soil you've ever smelled. Our operation happens to also have a propaganda problem, and for the past 3 years we have been churning out stacks of filthy zines and prints. You can drop by to our wormy layer located in City Heights San Diego... remember we are all merely compost in the making. 

Humphrey Hamshackle (Hunter Ivanjack) is a San Diego-based artist and has been active in art shows and events since 2019. As a visual artist and writer, his primary forms of creation are collage, poetry, and zines. He explores the magic found in the ordinary and mundane through repurposing found objects. His current zines include Walking Is Good For You (WIGFY) Volume 1, an exploration of his found items archive, and From Deep Within The Earth, a collage and found poetry collection. He is currently working on WIGFY Volume 2 and various collaborative collage mini-zines.

I'm a freelance illustrator working out of my home in Normal Heights where I've been for the past 6 years or so. My love of music and musicians are what started me off on my zine making, with the first one created as a tribute after David Bowie died. Since then I've made many more, as well as zines expressing my views on current events. I also have made prints of my artwork, ranging from postcards to posters.

I am a comics writer and illustrator from Southern California with familial roots in Central America and the Eastern European Jewish Pale of Settlement. In the illustrations and comics I create, I center equity, representation of women of color, and nuanced narratives with space for joy, beauty, and emotional growth. Since 2014, I work predominantly in comics, books, and zines.

Mara Gervais is located in Davis, CA and has been making zines since they were a child. They tabled at their first zine fest in 2016, but started regularly attending zine fests in 2019.

I was born and currently live in San Diego. I've loved art and drawing since I was little and graduated from SDSU with a BA in Studio Art in 2022. Since then, I've just been trying to make art when I get the chance and started self-publishing zines about a year ago. 

I recently moved to San Diego this July 2024, but was previously located in Davis, CA where I have been screenprinting for about 2 hrs now

Kimkim Dang (she/they) is a graduate of Colby College ‘23 where she received her B.A. in studio art with a concentration in print and digital media. Kimkim is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the theme of identity through the navigation and reflection of personal narratives and experiences as a first-generation Vietnamese American."

"Agustin Morales and Mark Galez are comic artists based in Los Angeles, CA. Together, we've created our own small publication, MSCHF Press! MSCHF Press is our creative outlet where we bring both our solo and collaborative projects to life. We are extremely passionate about making comics and enjoy creating them together. Our mission is to share our collaborative experience, demonstrating that making comics doesn't always have to be a solo effort.

We got our start with ""GoGo Proton: Time Loop"" for the ShortBox Comic Fair in 2023. Currently, we are working on our first official large-format book, which is set to be released in early 2025."

Currently split between New York City and San Diego, My Little Underground began in 2022 and is a zine celebrating the underground music scene across the country. Each issue includes interviews, reviews, photographs, drawings, and diaries I’ve collected throughout each year. 

We're an evolving community and retail space in Boyle Heights. We host artists and installations, zine readings, community talks, a collection of zines, art books, literature and some vinyl and cassettes as well.

We are a ragtag trio based in San Diego that began collaborating in coffee shops and noticed that we can bounce our similar senses of humor to create original bite sized comedy relief zines based from internet, pop, local San Diego culture. We experiment with a page by page process of improvised sketching to form unexpected, interesting stories and premises. Although our group is a few months established, we believe we can sharpen our process, re-edit our rough mini zines, and use it develop more personal projects in the future. Each of us individually has been illustrating since childhood and would take the opportunity to practice comic making and find an audience through printed media.

The mission of Radical History Club is to challenge and unsettle colonizer, capitalist and anti-Black perspectives of US history. Members become citizen historians by collecting short history zines and understanding history through the lens of oppressed peoples. Each book comes with a badge to be worn as a symbolic promise to share with others what you've learned. A different panel of educators, activists, elders and artists with experiences related to each issue's topic are consulted and compensated.

Sunni D. Jacocks (they/he) is a Black, queer artist, educator, and feral storyteller. They have received their Master of Fine Arts, Creative Writing; Fiction, and minor in Gender & Sexuality at New Mexico State University; transforming into an unapologetic facilitator and activist. An anxious, fragile, sweet thing, he is dedicated to providing a safe place to explore kink, trauma, desire, and big emotions in all the work they nourish and spawn. He lives in San Diego with their partner and fur demon babies. Since 2018, they’ve been creating tangible and visceral zines for readers—a mirror they can hold and see themselves when the world refuses to look.

Valley of Paradox is a zine that includes topics about art, astronomy, creativity, and more. I started making zines in 2014 when I lived in Brooklyn, NY and was about to finish library school. My zines are typically reflective and informational, and sometimes include an interactive element (such as pages for readers to add something). As an artist I like to make since about art and creativity, and as a librarian I infuse those aspects into my work while using zines to engage students in their learning. I've taken a long break in my zine practice, but returning to it I'm dreaming up ideas that connect to Tijuana, borders, zines to mobilize, and new topics for reflection.
