Kozovo @_kozovo_ is the project of producer Gil Orozco, born in Guadalajara, Mexico. Kozovo explores electronic music since an early age, inspired by industrial music, trip-hop, glitch, ambient and techno. ‘’I believe that video games allow me to experience things that go far beyond human comprehension. That's why, for example, I often feel very scared whenever I play games that depict things that exceed the limits of my imagination. However, in that same vein, I find that video games that take my hand into a void of darkness, worlds of madness, and societies filled with chaos are those that captivate me the most. Perhaps it boils down to the full experience, perhaps it's the emotion behind these concepts, or the utter poetry that comes out of things such as death, love, and the convergence of both of them. In this mix, I tried to exercise just that. I picked music that allowed me to feel an out-of-body experience. I try to speak of love, of death, fear, and ultimately, I aim to go back to everything that made me get into video games in the first place, my childhood. These are (for the most part) games that I have played in the last 5 years. However, there might be a little gem that has accompanied me since I was very little. I don't know; maybe these are supposed to tell a story. It's completely up to you.’’
