With a background in breakcore, weirdo electronic music and a love for video game soundtracks disrupt and a trashy laptop set out on a mission to unite bits and bytes with the goodness of DUB back in 2004. Running the Jahtari label ever since from Leipzig / Germany, there’s no end in sight for this special flavour of pixelated dancehall. This is a mix of tracks from the Jahtari catalogue that have been inspired by video game soundtracks - many of them unreleased demos, gameboy re-works or dubby-fied interludes originally made for Jahtari live performances.
