MODERN HEART RADIO: 7.23.2026 🪨 THIS MONTH'S GUEST: @swe47er 🛘 Swe4ter is an emerging San Diego DJ and Producer blending sounds of east coast club with breakbeats and euphoric melodies. In a swe4ter set one can expect to hear all the classic hallmarks of Jersey and Baltimore club with sprinkles of pop and r&b edits, two genres which influence his sound greatly. In December, he released his first track onto Soundcloud, a Baltimore club flip of Oklou’s God’s Chariots. Following this, the track was picked up on the radar of Brooklyn based DJ Nextdimensional and the two collaborated on a joint version of the remix which was released onto her label, Starry Records. Since then, the track has been played in clubs all across the states and had multiple features on the lot radio. Swe4ter also is the founder of the San Diego based club music collective Soft Shoulder (@softshoulderclub). The collective aims to create a queer-centered space for club and dance music in the city and showcase local talent as well as DJs from all across the United States. Their last show packed out the house with headliner Bored Lord and they plan to have many more events in the coming months. You can find swe4ter DJing in several places around San Diego in bars and clubs, but this week on July 24th he is featured on the bill of local collective @b00tyd3w summer party as support for @djswisha This month's resident mix is provided by @daph.flac
