We are stoked to be joining the Particle FM team and can't wait to share lots and lots of tunes we hope you will love as much as we do. Coming from opposite ends of the planet (NZ & UK) we met in Berlin at Mr Maze's record stall and bonded over similar lifetimes spent digging for records and playing them in dodgy spots - and the occasional classy one too. More recently, I was very lucky to have Atrevido come and hang out while he was on his European adventures recently and after some quality sessions in the Neukölln tower here we are, ready to give you some Friday night, Berlin action, for breakfast! Between us we have over 60 years of DJing under our belts and even more when it comes to music collecting so we thought the best way for you to 'get to know' us was to play you some tunes that we really love and mean a lot to us; the life-changing, spine tingling ones that put us in a wormhole, only to emerge and find another - we can get to the mixing and all that later. If we get to the end of the 2 hours and have more to go, we will do the same thing next show too! In coming shows, expect the full range of house, ukg and broken beat classics with more than a nod to UK rave and bass culture in all of its glorious forms. You might even get some techno... It is Berlin after all 😉
