Join us for this months take on runway music starting with “the worst collection ever”. Louis Vuitton's RTW Spring/Summer 2008 collection was by many accounts….their worst. Marc Jacobs, on his way out of the house claimed the collection was inspired by appropriation artist Richard Prince…and SpongeBob Squarepants. A notable moment resurfaced during 2020 because Marc had the models in LV stamped masks. Whether predictive or coincidence it’s easy to feel the only thing saving the collection was the score created by Daft Punk. That saving grace began Daft Punk’s runway lineage with LV, Yves Saint Laurent, Virgil, and Maison Kitsune 👔. 🎨 @bykaidan
