I first met Kevin in 2017 when I was a nervous, late-blooming rave kid wanting to learn more about Detroit Techno. It was immediately evident how much he epitomized techno’s ethos of community build through musical futurism, and how humble a student of his craft he was and still is. Kevin’s tireless artistry and championing of Detroit have led him to stages across the globe, from Panorama Bar to Sri Lanka, to right back in Detroit performing live at this year’s @movementdetroit festival stage on Monday May 26.
